SwitchEasy debuts RebelTouch for iPod touch 2G

SwitchEasy has introduced its new RebelTouch case for the second-generation iPod touch. Like the company’s prior CapsuleRebel case for iPhone 3G, RebelTouch is a hybrid case featuring a inner layer made of Adaptive Dynamic Soft Polymer (ADSP), a material which is stronger and more UV resistant than silicone, yet soft enough to protect the finish of the iPod touch. A Lexan polycarbonate “UltraFrame” attaches to the outside of the ADSP shell, covering a large portion of the case with the impact-resistant frame.
Innotech intros Accenda Voice Control for iPod

Voice and remote control manufacturer Innotech has introduced the Accenda Voice Control for iPod, a new accessory that will allow iPod users to control their devices with voice commands. The Voice Control consists of a small in-line box that attaches to the iPod’s Dock Connector and provides a headphone output with a bass-boost function. Once connected to the iPod, the Voice Control listens for the word “iPod,” and then listens for the voice command and performs the desired operation.

Sling Media shows SlingPlayer iPhone concept

Sling Media has announced that it will be showing a proof of concept version of its SlingPlayer Mobile application for the iPhone at WWDC. The current version runs on jailbroken iPhones only, and will not be made available to consumers until the app can be reworked using Apple’s official SDK.

Billed as “functional luxury,” the new Exotica line features exotic leathers for their exteriors including ostrich, camel, snake, lamb shearling and alligator. Inside the cases are lined with smooth black lambskin and patent leather.
